AP: Interior Secretary Zinke Spent $139K on Three Office Doors

WASHINGTON – Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke spent nearly $139,000 on three office doors last year, according to the Associated Press.

The AP’s Michael Biesecker and Matthew Daley report that records show the Interior Department spent nearly $139,000 last year for construction labeled on a work order as "Secretary's Door."

That’s more than twice the median income in the U.S., roughly $56,000 a year.

“Taxpayer dollars don’t grow on trees, but Mr. Zinke and his fellow grifters in the Trump administration repeatedly raid the federal treasury like it does,” said EWG President Ken Cook. “Secretary Zinke shouldn’t be buying doors, he should be shown the door out of the agency.”
